Romanov in Hleb dilemma
VYACHESLAV HLEB has told Vladimir Romanov he has no intention of joining Hearts on the cheap.
The Belarussian has been linked with the move to the Edinburgh club for months only for the transfer for from his present club MTZ Ripo of Minsk to be put on hold.
Now it appears that Hearts owner Romanov is considering selling the young goal ace to Germany with two clubs ready to fork out around £500,000.
But last night Hleb was in the dark as to his future... and the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
He said: “I would be happy to sign for Hearts but I am concerned about the money.
“I want to go to Hearts but not for 1000 or 2000 Euros a month. I want to be paid good money.”
However, he was forced to admit: Everything depends on Romanov.
"He is the owner of Hearts. If he tells me he wants me, I will come. It's no problem.
“Romanov is thinking about this just now. I have no information and I am waiting to hear news from him.“
I have not heard from him for over a month. I have a contract with Romanov so if he says I go to Hearts, I go to Hearts. If he says I go to Germany, I go to Germany."
