Jesus of Naan-zareth
IT'S not what you expect as you’re about to tuck into a curry – the face of Jesus staring out at you from a naan bread.
That’s what happened to David Howlett, 34, at the India Dining restaurant in Esher, Surrey, last Wednesday, which was Epiphany. He said: “My wife and I were about to tuck into our food when I spotted Jesus looking right at me. It was eerie.”
Owner Asad Khan joked: “Perhaps my chef has a direct line to the man upstairs.”
