Britain's so spooky
ON the brink of Hallowe’en on Saturday, research suggests one in five Britons claim to have felt a spooky presence in their home.
Around 17 per cent of Londoners admit they have experienced a paranormal presence, reports the poll for family history website, findmypast.com.
But Scotland is the spookiest – 23 per cent of Scots claim to have a haunted house.
One in six Brits found at least one ancestor died an unexplained or violent death – and fear they may be coming back to haunt them.
