Who's a naughty boy then?
A PARROT which starred in the film Pirates Of The Caribbean attacked a policeman after its owner was arrested for driving with the bird on her shoulder.
Chip, a blue and gold macaw, left PC Martin Dadd covered in bite marks and scratches.
The 10-year-old bird and its unnamed owner were about to board a ferry at Dover when they were pulled over.
Chip was the mouthpiece of mute helmsman Pirate Cotton, played by David Bailie, right, in the 2003 film. Animal trainer Mark Harnden described the macaw as “laid back”.
But Chief Superintendent Steve Masters said: “Unfortunately the woman did not possess a cage for the bird so PC Dadd had to drive her car while it was loose in the vehicle. The macaw then perched itself on the steering wheel, pecking at his fingers throughout the journey.”
Chip’s owner is due to appear before Dover magistrates charged with 14 offences, including driving while disqualified.
