Bank station and Monument EVACUATED after 'smell of SMOKE'
BANK tube station London has been evacuated and several passengers have reported they can smell smoke.

TfL confirmed the station is closed.
They tweeted: “Bank/Monument: The station is currently closed. This is while we investigate a fire alert.”
People on social media claim they can smell smoke.
One tweeted: “Just got emergency evacuated from bank station and there's loads of smoke.”

Another said: "Avoid Bank, total chaos."
London Fire attended the scene.
The evacuation was the result of an overheated break on a train, the fire brigade confirmed.
Both stations have been reopened and are now open to the public.
There are severe delays on all lines passing through this Station including the DLR.
