'Top Gear ratings will haemorrhage' Carol Vorderman speaks out on Clarkson's dismissal
SHE'S a voice to be reckoned with on social media and Carol Vorderman has had her say on both the Jeremy Clarkson story and Zayn Malik leaving One Direction.
Two of the biggest stories in the entertainment world broke yesterday, and Carol doesn't think Top Gear will survive without Jeremy Clarkson presenting.
Taking to Twitter to air her views last night, the 54-year-old former Countdown presenter said: "Top Gear ratings will haemorrhage and show will close within two years ...... @JeremyClarkson. Some shows just are about the people... xx"
But it seems her fans misconstrued the conversation-starter, thinking Carol was condoning Jeremy hitting a Top Gear producer.

Not one to take this lying down, Carol said: "Now lovely gang... some of you have made a giant leap from my prediction about ratings to a condoning of violence... I never said that.
"I have merely predicted ratings ... Jeremy should not have hit anybody obviously... xx have a good day."
She added: "and my final word on the matter..... it is ONLY television ... oh hang on, that's four words !!! :)"
It seems the aviation enthusiast is something of a Clarkson fan, but isn't sure Top Gear will work without the disgraced presenter.

She tweeted last night: "Has someone called Zayn left a band today btw? *awaits teenage backlash* ... x"
One fan jokingly replied: "Maybe you can help 1Ds fans count how many is left out of 5 now that 1 has gone."
