Gordon Ramsay has treated himself to a brand new Ferrari

The 48-year-old chef treated himself to a £1million Ferrari LaFerrari over the weekend, and just couldn't resist showing it off.

Gordon shared several pictures of the luxurious car on his Instagram page, and was also spotted pulling up outside Claridges in it.

Posting pictures of the vehicle's exterior, as well as one interior shot, the Scottish-born star wrote: "Holy Mackerel its Fast….." before adding: "The Electric part even toasts your bread quickly…."

Gordon then went on to reveal that he had taken his car on it's first trip on the M4 to go and watch his daughter's netball match.

He captioned one of the snaps: "fyi it didn't take me long to get there…"

Gordon is no stranger to owning a Ferrari and has enjoyed a number of the Italian firm's cars, however, his latest purchase is particularly special.

The LaFerrari - which is Ferrari's limited edition 'halo' model - is powered by a 6.3-litre V12 engine and an electric motor which develops 960bhp.

This gives the hybrid a 0-62mph time of less than three seconds, while 124mph arrives in less than seven seconds.

My first trip was out on the M4 to watch Megs Netball fyi it didn't take me long to get there.......

The car also has an electronically-limited top speed of 218mph.

Ferrari have been ncredibly selective over who they would sell the car to - with customers expected to have bought a number of other cars from them in the past.

Gordon is believed to have collected his LaFerrari from the HR Owen dealership in South Kensington.

Other famous faces who own the model include golfer Ian Poulter and Lewis Hamilton, who races for Ferrari's F1 rivals Mercedes.

I've gone all electric La Ferrari DONE !
