Susanna Reid admitted she was 'scared' of Nicola Sturgeon
The 44-year-old was interviewing the Scottish National Party leader as part of a series of interviews for Good Morning Britain, in which she will try to uncover a more personal side of the various party leaders ahead of the general election.
As the pair sat down to chat in the 44-year-old politician's home, Susanna broke the ice by confessing: "I remember being quite scared of you."
She added: "You came across as quite tough a few years ago and I don't think you're like that anymore."

Susanna interviewed Nicola on a number of topics from takeaways to a Labour coalition
During the interview the GMB star probed the Scottish First Minister on a number of subjects – from potentially forming a coalition with the Labour Party to how she likes to spend her weekends.
Nicola confessed that she does "order a sneaky takeaway" every now and then and revealed her favourite cuisine is Indian.
She joked: "The fact that we're on first name terms with the person who delivers it on a Friday night shouldn't allow you to read anything into my lifestyle."
Susanna also quizzed Nicola on the fact that she has no children with her husband Peter Murrell.

Nicola revealed Indian is her favourite takeaway
"People have started asking me 'was it conscious decision?' It hasn't been. Life takes certain directions and it doest take other directions and that's as complicated as it gets," Nicola explained.
Last week Susanna turned on the charms as she interviewed Prime Minister David Cameron.
Sat in a cosy armchair opposite the politician at 10 Downing Street, Susanna flashed her pins and flirtatiously chewed on the end of a pen as David told her that he didn't go to as many parents' evenings as he would like and acknowledged that his children have been "teased" about his job.
