Andy Murray names sponsored dog after his fiancee Kim Sears
ANDY Murray has named a dog after his fiancee Kim Sears.
The tennis star, who will marry Kim next month, sponsors a sniffer dog, named Murray in his honour, to help tackle poaching in Nepal.
He was asked to name the dog’s companion and chose Sears.
Murray and Sears now work together in Chitwan National Park with their handlers.
Murray, a WWF global ambassador, said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to name the companion of my namesake dog.
“Dogs love companionship and I hope this partnership will aid them as they work to tackle poaching in Nepal."
