The presenter, who was speaking to David Cameron for Good Morning Britain, turned on the charm during their one-to-one just weeks before the election.

The 48-year-old was asked questions on policy, as well as the brunette beauty asking him about his family life.

Sat in a cosy armchair opposite the politician at 10 Downing Street, 44-year-old Susanna flashed her pins in a bright, aquamarine dress while biting on the end of a pen.

David told her that he didn't go to as many parents' evenings as he would like and acknowledged that his children had been "teased" about his job.

When asked by Susanna whether he felt guilty for working, he responded: "Sometimes. I take them to school maybe once a fortnight, sometimes that slips and I feel sad.

"That sort of time, taking them into school, chatting with the teacher, finding out how they are getting on, I love all that."

David went on to inform the mother-of-three that he had spent time with his youngest daughter at the weekend, which he took her to the cinema.

"Sam was with the others so I took Florence and we went shopping and then we went to see Shaun The Sheep, which is brilliant, I thoroughly recommend it.

"We had a lovely day together. When you have got three children, spending time with them individually, I really like doing that because that's when they open up more."

He continued: "Of course there are things you miss. I think school parent evenings - not as many as I should; homework - not as much as I should."

And finally, when asked if the couple had any help, he added: "We are very lucky, we have a live-in nanny. That is the biggest element of the cost and that's very expensive, we are only able to do that because Samantha and me, we are both working."

Spekaing about today's interview, a spokesperson for Good Morning Britain said: "Today's interview with David Cameron is one of a series of interviews with the main party leaders ahead of the General Election. They aim to give viewers a personal insight into the individual behind the politician, taking place in locations that are significant to them."
