Kylie has enjoyed international success but admits she didn't like singing her first hits

The singer, 46, who became a sensation thanks to her cheesy 1988 The Loco-Motion and I Should Be So Lucky, reveals: “I didn’t like singing them for the longest time.”

However 27 years on the star has learned to love the hand that so generously fed her.

“It has gone full circle now and I absolutely adore singing them.”

Kylie, preparing for the Australian leg of her Kiss Me Once tour and who we recently revealed was hoping to find love again following her split from Spanish model Andres Velencoso, 35, in 2013 after five years, also spoke candidly about sacking her mum Carol Jones from helping with the tour costumes a few years back.

“I gave her the flick, I sacked her,” Kylie told Australian TV. “She’s been on my tours since the first one and was washing stinky dancers’ costumes…

“I should have a bronzed statue of my mum she is so amazing but I just said to her, ‘Mum go and enjoy and watch the show’, so it was bittersweet because she loves being part of it."
