SPOILER ALERT: David Platt shocked to discover Gavin Rodwell's grave in Coronation Street
THERE are going to be some tricky questions for Gail Platt after David discovers the grave of the real Gavin Rodwell.
After following Gail to a cemetry, David (Jack P Shepherd) discovers what his mum has been hiding.
In next week's episodes viewers will see Gail (Helen Worth) put in an awkward position when the real Gavin Rodwell turns up at her door, hours before she is due to tie the knot with his dad Michael (Les Dennis).
It is then she realises that the man she knows as Gavin is in fact an impostor, whose real name is Andy (Oliver Farnworth).
Rather than upset Michael – whose heart condition means he should avoid big shocks – Gail tries to do a deal with Gavin and he agrees to keep quiet in exchange for the £2,500 he's owed from Andy.
Explaining the complicated relationship, actor Olive Farworth recently told the Radio Times: "My character is actually called Andy and he's a friend of the real Gavin Rodwell, who he shares a flat with.
"The real Gavin is off travelling and Andrew has intercepted this letter that Michael posted through the door.
"Andrew made a rash decision to pretend to be Gavin and before he knew it the situation had spiralled out of control… Now Andrew is in far too deep."
With Gail willing to keep Andy's identity secret for the time being, things look set to get a lot more complicate when Gavin dies.
Having made a deal with him, Gail is unable to inform Michael but does attend his funeral and later makes a trip to his grave.
Her family grow suspicious, and one day David follows her to the cemetery where Gavin in buried.

David is clearly shocked and upset at what he discovers and confronts his mum to demand an explanation.
But when he hears her side of the story, will he finally blow Andy's cover and put Michael's health at risk?
Speaking of the revelation, Les Dennis recently told Digital Spy: "I imagine Michael is going to be massively hurt. It's such a huge deal and such an incredible secret to keep from him – to let him believe all this time that a perfect stranger is his son! On Michael's behalf, I'm upset for him."
On Gail going behind Michael's back, he said: "I think it would put their relationship in huge jeopardy if he found out she knew and had kept it from him."
