Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson 'splits from boyfriend Matthew Hitt’

According to reports, the 25-year-old and her model beau Matthew have gone their separate ways after they began dating last summer. 

An insider told Us Magazine: "Sometime over the holidays, they broke up.

"Her life was getting too crazy and it wasn't something that he wanted to be a part of."

The duo were spotted leaving a hotel in New York City within minutes of each other earlier this month, but Dakota recently hinted that she was single again. 

When asked if her boyfriend was a fan of the new Fifty Shades film, she replied: "My hypothetical beloved thinks it's great. He's really supportive.

"I don't have a lot of time for a relationship. I'm too bustling sanctimonious and afterwards we go home and there's no one."

The brunette beauty also recently admitted she has a lot of turn-offs when it comes to men.

She said: "I think it's unsexy when a man chews with his mouth open or when a man is rude or wears fedoras. I hate fedoras. 

"Oh God, I can find more things I hate about men than I like. I think it's just a phase!"
