EastEnders' Bobby Beale 'breaks the internet' after he is unveiled as sister Lucy's killer

Within minutes of the murder plot unravelling viewers of the hit BBC One soap took to Twitter in their thousands to give their opinion on the killer twist.

One user wrote: "Some 8 year old has the strength to kill with a jewellery box and i don't even have the strength to run up the stairs #EELive"

Another user quipped: "People are going to be maaaaad with that ending, but in my opinion, bloody brilliant! Nice work @bbceastenders! #EELive"

"I'm hurt we waited 10 months to find out lil Virgin boy Bobby was the killer only Eastenders can make me feel that way lol," one Twitter User added.

Another added: "Well done eastenders. Brilliant episode.#EELive #BobbyBeale #killertwist"

Meanwhile Danny Dyer, who plays Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter, also expressed his shock at Bobby being unveiled as Lucy's killer.

He tweeted: "So.........Damien lives....666......the shifty little mug.......roll on tomorrow. #EElive"

Friday night's episode of EastEnders will wrap up the soap's week of celebrations for its landmark 30th anniversary.

Dominic Treadwell-Collins, EastEnders Executive Producer tweeted: "And there you have it. But the COMPLETELY LIVE fallout tomorrow is going to have you reaching for the tissues... #EELive"
