'I'll watch The Notebook and weep' Eva Mendes pokes fun at rumoured Ryan Gosling split
EVA Mendes showed off her sense of humour during an interview on Ellen earlier today, where she joked that she would be weeping into The Notebook this Valentines Day.
The star, who is rumoured to have split from long-term boyfriend Ryan Gosling, poked fun at the speculation by revealing plans to watch the romantic comedy, which stars Gosling, on Friday.
The 39-year-old neither confirmed or denied the split, but when asked what her plans were for the most romantic day of the year, the actress replied: "I'm not a big Valentine's Day person.
"I'll probably just order a deep dish and watch The Notebook or something. just cry, weep."
Eva looked gorgeous as she chatted away to the hostess in a vintage-inspired dress, which featured keyhole detailing at the front.
She wore her hair in a casual updo and opted for minimal make-up for her appearance, opting for a simply pink lipstick and a sweep of eyeliner.
Speculation of Eva and Ryan's split surfaced after the couple had not been seen together for a couple of months.
According to reports, the pair - who have been dating for two years - called it suits after Eva refused to give up her Hollywood lifestyle and have a family.
"Eva loves Hollywood, the parties, the glamour. She loves going out," a source told InTouch Weekly.
But apparently Ryan isn't so keen and is "introverted - very serious and a total homebody".
"They started having problems back in Septemeber, and they decided to quietly cal it off for good around Christmas," they added.
However a rep told E! that the reports are "just another round of rumours."
