It is believed that Carole and Michael Middleton will join the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and adorable Prince George for two weeks on the paradise island of Mustique, where Carole will celebrate her 60th birthday on January 31.

Prince William, the pregnant Duchess, and 18-month-old George were spotted changing planes at St Lucia last Thursday as they made their way to the picturesque island.

Kate's parents stuck to casual attire as they made their way through a British airport earlier today.

Carole appeared fresh and fashionable as she approached her significant birthday, sporting dark pixie boots, a casual black jacket and blue skinny jeans.

Michael, who was carrying a large trolley of luggage, was spotted wearing beige trousers and a smart sports jacket.

The family, including Kate's siblings Pippa and James, are understood to be staying in a £13,300 per week luxury villa.

The Middletons, who visit Mustique every year, have previously stayed at Villa Aurora which boasts five household staff, a 45ft swimming pool, private rock pool and sun deck.

Prince George is understood to have been "impeccably behaved" on the nine-hour British Airways flight last week, according to fellow passengers.

The well-travelled tot and his parents are believed to have flown by first-class to St Lucia before switching to a private plane which flew them to Mustique.

However, this is not the first time that Prince George has made the 4,287 mile trip to the Caribbean.

He flew to Mustique last year and has also clocked up air miles by travelling to Australia and New Zealand on tour.

His mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, is around six months pregnant with her second child and is due to give birth in late April.
