Inside the luxury Caribbean villa where Kate took Prince George on his first holiday
HE MAY not even be a year old yet, but Prince George has already had his first taste of pure luxury during his first ever holiday abroad.
The six-month-old tot and his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, flew to the Caribbean last week on a British Airways flight, where they then caught a private jet to the beautiful island of Mustique.
The mother and son pair were greeted by Kate's parents Michael and Carole Middleton, as well as her sister Pippa and brother James for the family's annual trip to the island - which coincides with Carole's 59th birthday.
Prince George is said to have behaved very well during the long-haul flight and was accompanied by three royal bodyguards on the scheduled 747 jumbo jet journey.
Sadly, his father, Prince William, missed the holiday due to his agricultural studies at Cambridge University - but was reunited with his nearest and dearest when they returned to the UK yesterday.
But it's highly unlikely that Kate was feeling down about his absence, especially as she was staying in a £19,000-a-week villa.
Pictures show that the stunning property was completely secluded on the 14,000 acre island and boasts a large swimming pool, a picturesque balcony and a stunning view.
The island of Mustique, which is part of St Vincent and the Grenadines, has strict entry requirements that make it almost impossible for paparazzi to take photographs of the rich and famous as they relax in the sunshine.
David Bowie, Sir Mick Jagger, Bryan Adams and designer Tommy Hilfiger all own property on the island.
The island seems to have become a favourite holiday destination for the Middleton family - who made their fortune selling party goods on the internet.
Mustique boasts one small hotel and just 74 villas - one of which once belonged to the Queen’s sister, Princess Margaret.
According to reports, the Middleton's spent their time enjoying barbecues on the beach, tennis, horse riding and sailing and snorkelling.
