With two new Netflix shows on the cards for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the couple are busy filming content for their upcoming releases.

However, news of the two projects - which include one show focusing on lifestyle and cooking, and another offering a glimpse into the sporting world of polo, have not gone down well with Palace insiders, an expert claims.

Royal expert, Tom Quinn told the Mirror: "Harry and Meghan's appearance at a polo event where they were filming a new Netflix series has produced groans at Kensington Palace."

The Montecito-based couple had visited Miami, Florida to attend the Sentebale Polo Cup - a charity event in support of Sentebale, which Harry co-founded in 2006. Netflix camera crews followed Harry and Meghan's every move at the event.

Mr Quinn added "no one is really surprised" at Harry and Meghan's efforts and determination, as they aim to "make money from yet another royal tradition".

Mr Quinn also thinks that there is a suggested downfall for the Duke of Sussex because of his "old-fashioned" interests which do not lend themselves well to commercial ventures.

He claims Harry cannot "do the kind of smiley confident acting" Meghan can do in front of the cameras.

Netflix crews in Florida captured the moment Meghan handed the victorious Harry the winning polo trophy and planted a kiss on the royal much to the delight of spectators.

Harry's show is in the early stages of production, but a release date is expected to be announced in the coming months.

A statement issued by the streaming giant and shared with outlet Deadline stated: "Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level."

For the event, Meghan looked gorgeous in a white pleated dress with a cut-out at the waist as Harry and his teammates applauded their opponents before accepting their prize. Harry, meanwhile, wore a pair of cream trousers, a pale grey jacket, and a crisp blue shirt with some tan shoes before changing into his polo kit.

One of the players in the team against Harry during the tournament in Palm Beach was his close friend, Nacho Figueras, while Meghan was accompanied by her pal, Serena Williams.

Polo has long been a favoured sport of the Royal Family, with Harry frequently playing with his older brother Prince William during his royal days.

The Netflix show will take viewers inside the world of the elitist sport, as the Duke will expose the "aesthetic and social" side of polo.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine, Nacho shared just how much playing polo means to Prince Harry: "We've been working on this for a long time. It was always Harry's dream and passion to share with the world, what it takes to be a really competitive polo player and show polo at the highest level."
