Meghan Markle 'furious' at how she was treated in UK but has 'worry' about her children

Meghan Markle is still "furious" about the way she was treated while a working member of the Royal Family but does "miss some aspects" of the UK, it is claimed.

may be worried that her two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, blame her from their absence from the UK and distance from the rest of the , according to a royal expert.

The US-based royal, who now resides in Montecito, California, is also said to miss certain aspects of life in the UK.

In an exclusive chat with The Mirror, Royal author Tom Quinn said Meghan is concerned about the potential impact on her children's relationship with their family members in the UK.

He said: "It will be a long time before Meghan reappears in the UK she has already publicly stated that she will not return to the UK, and her friends insist she is still furious at the way she feels she was treated during her time in Britain."

However, according to Quinn, one of Meghan's friends in the UK said she had confessed to missing certain aspects of life in the country.

The royal expert said: "On the other hand, we should always remember that phrase - 'never say never,' because it will come back to haunt you when you change your mind, especially if you are a public figure like Meghan.

"A friend of the couple one of Meghan's few aristocratic friends from her time in the UK - told me Meghan does miss some aspects of life in the UK and worries that her children will blame her if they never get to see their cousins and feel as adults that they have been deprived of what might have been a fun and meaningful existence in the UK as working royals."

Prince Harry is expected to speak at the Invictus Games 10th Anniversary Service, which will be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.

There has been some speculation over whether Meghan will attend the event alongside him.

The Duchess of Sussex hasn't been on UK soil since 2022 for Queen Elizabeth's funeral.

However, Prince Harry has made a number of solo trips back to his home country for his various lawsuits against the British press, and to attend his father, King Charles's Coronation.

The couple's two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are believed to have only met their royal family members a handful of times.
