King Charles III coronation details revealed by Palace

King Charles could not forgive Prince Harry's attacks on Queen Camilla, a royal commentator believes. Royal photographer Arthur Edwards thinks the "vicious" criticism and claims levelled at the Queen Consort by the Duke of Sussex in his recent interviews and memoir pushed the monarch to take the decision to take away Frogmore Cottage from Meghan and Harry. The commentator wrote in a comment piece for The Sun: "Finally the King has hit back at Harry and Meghan over their vicious attacks on his darling wife and Prince William." He continued: "The King has responded by taking away their grace and favour home, Frogmore Cottage, which was given to them as a perk of their job." Actions, Mr Edwards added, "have consequences".

He added: "In any walk of life if you are not doing the job, you lose the perks. Harry and Meghan can’t have their cake and eat it." News the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were broke on Wednesday. Royal biographer Omid Scobie reported sources claiming the Sussexes , communicated to them shortly after the release of Spare in January. In the book and in interviews accompanying its launch, Harry claimed Camilla was willing to trade information with the press to improve her image. Speaking to US journalist Anderson Cooper in January, the Duke said what made the now Queen Consort "dangerous" was "the need for her to rehabilitate her image". He added: "That made her dangerous because of the connections that she was forging within the British press. And there was an open willingness on both sides to trade information and with a family built on hierarchy, and with her on the way to being Queen Consort, there was going to be people or bodies left in the street because of that."

Harry and Meghan could receive huge payout after being evicted from Frogmore

The Sussexes were gifted the gorgeous five-bed cottage on the Windsor estate on their wedding day by Queen Elizabeth.

The Duke and Duchess are being evicted from Frogmore Cottage as King Charles is reportedly planning to give the Windsor home to the disgraced Prince Andrew.

While Harry and Meghan only resided on the property for six months, they made costly renovations with taxpayers’ money.

However, now “financially independent”, the royal couple paid back the renovation costs, sparking questions in royal circles as to whether they would be owed any money in return.

Prince William and Kate ‘on board’ with King Charles’s decision to evict the Sussexes

On Wednesday, a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed the news that the pair have been booted from their Windsor home.

Prince William and Kate Middleton will be “on board” with King Charles’s decision to evict the Sussexes from Frogmore Cottage, claimed a royal expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been served a notice to vacate Frogmore Cottage which was gifted to them by the late Queen Elizabeth.

Prince Harry and Meghan refurbished the property, owned by the Crown Estate, at an estimated cost of £2.4m in 2018-19.

The cost was initially covered by taxpayers through the Sovereign Grant before being repaid in full by the duke.

On Wednesday, a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan confirmed the news and stated: “We can confirm The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage.”

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, told OK! That the Prince and Princess of Wales would “absolutely support” the eviction as they “probably do not want the Sussexes as neighbours”.

Meghan and Harry 'got what they wanted' as Frogxit eviction likely 'leaked by Sussexes'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been asked to "vacate" their UK home just weeks after Harry's damning book Spare was released, the couple have confirmed.

Harry and Meghan's spokesperson said a "request" had been made for the Sussexes to give up Frogmore Cottage close to Windsor Castle.

Royal commentator Lee Cohen has told Express.co.uk that the royal couple "got what they wanted" after two years of giving interviews about the Royal Family.

He said: "The duo got what they wanted to withdraw from Britain and from the duties that were never a fit for them.

"They were initially welcomed with great joy in the country where Harry is a Prince of the Blood, but their behavior has understandably made them deeply unpopular there, so why should Frogmore or any residence be reserved for them when they don't want to be there and neither do the citizens of Britain want them there.

"The King has shown great patience and empathy for his son in the face of all the insufferable insults and assaults."

King Charles fell into 'political trap' with Brexit meeting and was 'manipulated by Sunak'

was "manipulated by" into his controversial meeting with Ursula von der Leyen at Windsor Castle on Monday, according to the Daily Express royal correspondent.

Richard Palmer gave his take on the decision on this week's Royal Round Up, where he argued there was a case for and against the King meeting with the President of the European Commission.

The British monarchy is expected to maintain a strictly apolitical stance, however critics have suggested that by hosting Ms von der Leyen for tea just after the new Brexit deal was announced the King is showing his support for the 'Windsor Framework'.

King Charles 'getting his own back on' Harry and Meghan through 'vindictive' move

has been described as "vindictive" by a royal expert as he "gets his own back" on and by evicting them from Frogmore Cottage.

The Sussexes will need to vacate the property after the in May, in a move which has made the possibility of a royal reconciliation even less likely.

The Daily Express royal correspondent Richard Palmer gave an insight into the news on this week's Royal Round Up, with some describing it as "an act of vengeance".

He told host Pandora Forsyth: "I have to say I was surprised, because it goes against some of the briefings that have been taking place, that the King wants to take the higher moral ground.

"Some people, not the Palace officially, but some people in the royal circles [have been] talking up the idea of a reconciliation before the Coronation.

"It's hard to see any of that happening given that the King reacted the day after the book came out and essentially said, 'right we want you out of Frogmore Cottage'."

King Charles has gone 'directly against' Queen with Sussex eviction - 'big mistake'

King Charles has made a big mistake by asking the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to leave Frogmore Cottage and reportedly offering it to the Duke of York, a royal expert has claimed.

Harry and Meghan's spokesperson has said a "request" was made for the Sussexes to give up the Grade II listed property, which is close to Windsor Castle.

The move comes after Harry and Meghan made a series of bombshell allegations in their Netflix series and in the prince's memoir, Spare.

Reports claim the move was sanctioned by King Charles and it will remove their remaining foothold in the UK, further weakening their ties with the Royal Family.

A spokesperson for the couple said on Wednesday: "We can confirm the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage."

Royal expert and historian Dr Tessa Dunlop said many people in Britain felt "gleeful" on learning of the King's tough stance with the Sussexes.

However, Dr Dunlop believes the move has gone against the wishes of Harry's late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who tried to keep him on board. She told the Mirror the "optics are terrible".

King's eviction could be to block Harry deputising for him as Duke set to lose royal title

EXCLUSIVE: King Charles III's decision to evict the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from Frogmore Cottage may have been the monarch's way of preventing Prince Harry from deputising for him, a royal expert has claimed.

In the event that the King cannot undertake an official duty, on a temporary basis due to illness or absence abroad, two or more Counsellors of State are appointed by Letters Patent to act in His Majesty's place.

By law, there are typically five Counsellors of State, which comprises the sovereign's spouse and the next four people in the line of succession who are over the age of 21.

This comprises of Camilla, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Andrew and Princess Beatrice.

But last year Princess Anne and Prince Edward were added to the list of official deputies as concerns had been raised about the suitability of the Duke of Sussex, who no longer lives in the UK, or Prince Andrew, stepping in on behalf of the King as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family.

Now, a royal expert has suggested that without a UK home - Harry will be unable to be called upon to act as a Counsellor of State.

This is because one of the requirements of the role is that whoever holds it is domiciled in the UK, and Harry will soon have no permanent UK address.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk about the repercussions of the eviction, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said: "It also means that Harry will lose his domicile in Britain, which will affect his role to act as a potential Counsellor of State, if the monarch is abroad or incapacitated."

has declared "all out war" on and by evicting them from Frogmore Cottage, according to a royal commentator.

The King reportedly asked the Duke and Duchess in January, not long after the publication of Harry's controversial memoir Spare.

will not be giving an interview to the BBC ahead of his in May, according to royal sources.

He told The Sun: "I believe strongly, that Charles will grant another interview to the BBC, possibly with somebody like Jonathan Dimbleby, whom he trusts and likes."

Archie and Lilibet now ‘highly unlikely’ to receive royal titles after Frogmore eviction

EXCLUSIVE: Archie Harrison and Lilibet Diana are now "highly unlikely" to receive royal titles following the King's decision to evict parents Prince Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's two children were not outright entitled to 'Prince' or 'Princess' titles.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk about the Sussexes' eviction from Frogmore Cottage, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams spoke of the repercussions that this will have on their two children.

Mr Fitzwilliams said: "It means Harry and Meghan’s children Archie and Lili are highly unlikely to be granted titles."

He also added that it would mean the couple, and their children's "visits to Britain are few".

When the youngsters were born they did not receive the titles of Prince and Princess because they were great-grandchildren of the monarch, however this has changed now that Charles is on the throne and they are the grandchildren of the monarch.

Eamonn Holmes shares his view on Frogmore Cottage row

GB News TV host Eamonn Holmes shared his view on news the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to lose their home in Windsor, Frogmore Cottage.

He wrote in a comment piece for Express.co.uk: "Now, if he wants to retain a home in the UK, he will have to face the same challenges as ordinary folk in popping along to an Estate Agent and arrange some viewings. Good luck with that!

"For me the really interesting part of all this is the timing. Charles apparently made the decision to boot out his son from Frogmore just a day or so after Spare was released.

"I remember thinking at the time that the King would likely be most upset and angry at the way Camilla was dragged into all of this by Harry. And asking Harry and Meghan to leave Frogmore is a clear sign of just how angry this left Charles."

"During our visits to Greece we have always been struck by the kindness and generosity of the Greek people and our thoughts, prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with all those who have been affected by this appalling tragedy."

'Absolutely class': Mum praised for transforming son into Prince Harry for World Book Day

Facebook users have lauded a mother who dressed her son as Prince Harry to mark World Book Day at school.

Royal fans were so impressed with Melissa Wright's efforts they praised her creativity online and suggested other parents should have done the same.

Melissa's son, three-year-old Ellis Wright, has a bold personality, so his mother jumped at the chance to turn him into the author of Spare for the occasion.

Harry told 'there're plenty of rooms in Windsor Castle' following safety claim on Frogmore

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will still have a safe place to stay when in Britain even after they lose Frogmore Cottage, a royal historian has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed on Wednesday evening they have been asked to vacate their official residence in the UK, an order reportedly issued by King Charles in the wake of the publication of Prince Harry's book Spare.

Omid Scobie, who co-penned an unofficial biography of the Sussexes, claimed taking away from the Sussexes their Windsor home, covered by police protection, means stripping Meghan and Harry of the "one remaining space that meets the family of four’s security needs when visiting".

Royal historian Marlene Koenig, however, objected to this stance, arguing other royal residences could provide a safe haven for Meghan, Harry and their children when they travel to the UK.

The US-based commentator told Express.co.uk: "Harry apparently views Frogmore Cottage as 'the only place left that's safe' which for me is a strange comment.

"Why? There are plenty of rooms at Windsor Castle where they could stay if they choose to come to the UK."

Blow for Charles as Andrew resisting Frogmore Cottage move and will fight to stay in home

Prince Andrew is reportedly "resisting" the move to Frogmore Cottage as he doesn't want to downsize, a royal insider claimed to The Sun.

This comes after it emerged that the King wants to evict Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the ten-bedroom home in Windsor that became their residence in early 2019.

The Duke of York was reportedly offered the residence, but he is said not to be happy with the proposal.

Prince Harry and Meghan's 'eviction' is 'just the beginning' of King's money-saving drive

and eviction from Frogmore Cottage is "just the beginning" of push for the to save money, according to an expert.

The cottage has been the couple's UK base since 2019, however reports state the King has decided to give the home to Prince Andrew instead.

According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, the King is looking to tighten the royal purse strings, particularly during the cost of living crisis.

She told The Mirror that Charles is "well aware" that having so many lavish properties languishing unused around the country is "not a good look in these hard times".

She said: "The fact the King’s son Harry is being targeted cannot but help look like a settling of scores for the disloyalty to his family in his explosive memoir Spare.

"The suggestion to give up Frogmore did apparently not go down well especially as they have paid their rental to the Crown Estate in advance.

"But within the Royal Family nothing is impossible and duly an eviction order has been obtained to get them out of the cottage before their tenure is up."

Ms Seward added: "It's royal swings and roundabouts, but King Charles has been warned he needs to make extensive savings and this is just the beginning."

Meghan and Harry given Coronation deadline to leave Frogmore for good

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were given only weeks to , it has been claimed.

Following a back and forth between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Buckingham Palace, the California-based pair were allowed to retain access to the property until after the Coronation of King Charles. But the monarch had initially hoped to have had this issue solved earlier than that, a source has claimed.

They told The Sun: "Charles wanted to start after his Coronation with the issues of Harry and Meghan and Andrew put to bed. The situation has dragged on far too long and he wanted to act decisively and quickly."

As reported on Wednesday, King Charles let Meghan and Harry know about his decision to pass on what has been their official residence in the UK since 2019 to another person days after the publication of the Duke's memoir, Spare.

The King's plan is believed to involve , who is reportedly seeing his subsidy being cut by the monarch amid a spending overhaul and may need to relocate to a smaller residence than the Royal Lodge.

Piers Morgan tells Sussexes ‘Charles has had enough’ as royal pair booted from Frogmore

Piers Morgan has hit out at the Sussexes after reports emerged that the royal couple have been evicted from the 10-bedroom property on the Windsor Estate.

The TV host, writing in his column in the Sun, stated that the King “has had enough”.

He wrote: “King Charles has had enough.

“That’s the obvious conclusion from The Sun’s bombshell scoop that Britain’s new Monarch is evicting Prince Harry and his wife Meghan from Frogmore Cottage, their UK home in Windsor.”

The broadcaster added that the monarch “won’t have taken this decision lightly” and “has made it clear to people that he still loves his second son”.
