Camilla Covid fears shot down as Duchess tests negative after meeting dozens
CAMILLA the Duchess of Cornwall has tested negative for COVID-19 after Prince Charles returned a positive result.
Prince Charles tests positive for Covid and is self-isolating
Clarence House announced on Thursday that the Prince of Wales has Covid-19 and is now self-isolating. It is the second time heir to the throne Charles, 73, has contracted the virus after falling ill with Covid in 2020. It has since confirmed that Camilla has tested negative for the virus.

According to the Duchess's office, her routine coronavirus test was negative.
A spokesman said: "The Duchess of Cornwall has routinely tested negative today. She is on a separate series of engagements from the Prince of Wales."
The prince met scores of people and was accompanied by Camilla at a reception in the British Museum to celebrate the work of the British Asian Trust on Wednesday evening.
The Duchess carried on with her engagements on Thursday, visiting Paddington Haven, a sexual assault referral centre in London, where she met former Love Island star Zara McDermott and discussed her experience of revenge porn and assault.
Camilla also told diners at community food centre Nourish Hub she felts "very honoured" and "very touched" by the Queen’s message backing her as future Queen Consort.
Prince Charles on Sunday thanked his mother Queen Elizabeth for publicly stating her wish that his wife become Queen Consort when he ascends the throne.
The 95-year-old monarch said it was her "sincere wish" that when the day comes, Camilla would be known as Queen Consort.

Camilla, 74, took part in a cookery demonstration with refugees on her visit to the centre in West London on Thursday.
She was visiting the venue in Notting Hill to mark its opening as the royal patron of Harvest UK, the charity which runs it.
The Duchess has been carrying out a string of engagements, later arriving at the Thames Valley Partnership charity in Buckinghamshire to learn about its work involving to protect and support crime victims.

Camilla was greeted by Vice Lord-Lieutenant Alexander Boswell and Nikki Ross, chief executive of the Thames Valley Partnership.
At the British Asian Trust reception, Prince Charles spoke about the devastating impact the pandemic has had on south Asia.
Using his pet name for Camilla, which means "darling" or "beloved" in Urdu, he said: "I cannot quite believe it is almost two years to the day that both my mehabooba and myself were able to be with all of you to celebrate the work of the British Asian Trust."
Charles rubbed shoulders with Chancellor Rishi Sunak, Home Secretary Priti Patel and former Liverpool footballer Ian Rush.
The prince caught Covid-19 in March 2020, suffering a mild form of the virus and described how he lost his sense of taste and smell.
He spent seven days self-isolating at his Birkhall home in Scotland before resuming his duties.

A message on the Prince Charles's official Twitter page said on Thursday: "This morning the Prince of Wales has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now self-isolating.
"HRH is deeply disappointed not to be able to attend today's events in Winchester and will look to reschedule his visit as soon as possible."
