KATE MIDDLETON has a surprising allergy that will likely disappoint the Queen but she is determined to overcome it.

The Duchess of Cambridge revealed her allergy to Australian author Kathy Lette during a Polo match. Asked by Lette why she wasn’t planning the Duchess explained her allergy.
She said:“ I’m allergic to horses.”
Two years later in 2011 Clarisa Ru, wife of Santa Barbara Polo Club president Wesley Ru told People that Kate was trying to overcome her allergy with through exposure which is also known as immunotherapy.
She said: “I got a chance to have a conversation with Kate, I asked if she was into polo before she met William.
“She said no.
“But she's been riding horses for a while and she hopes to play polo one day.
“I'm actually allergic to them, but the more time one spends with them the less allergic you become.”
Kate’s allergy would likely disappoint the Queen who is obsessed with the animals.
Her Majesty has been inducted into the into the QIPCO British Champions Series Hall of Fame.

She is the first person to gain membership within the Special Contributor category.
During the Queen’s career in horse breeding, she has he has notched 452 wins out of a total of 2,834 races.
This equates to a 15.9 percentage win rate.
A number of the Royals are skilled horse riders who like to play polo.
