Prince Harry finds unexpected ally in LA after finding transition to LA 'challenging'
PRINCE HARRY has found an unexpected ally in Los Angeles after finding his transition to a post-royal life across the pond "challenging at times", a source has claimed.
Meghan Markle 'still has platform without royal family' says Ojo
Prince Harry has been contacted by Academy Award-winner Liza Minnelli after he relocated to Los Angeles, a source has sensationally claimed. The Cabaret star, who became a friend of Princess Diana in the 1990s, is believed to have made the first move and offered her help to Meghan and Harry.
Ms Minnelli's help came as the Duke of Sussex struggled to transition from his life as a full-time working royal based in England to a post-royal life in California, a source said.
They told The Sun: “Harry has found the transition from the UK to LA very challenging at times, and lockdown hasn’t helped him establish himself yet.
“Liza reached out because she was close to Diana and offered her support.
“She’s been dealing with paparazzi for years, and knows the fame game.
“Obviously, Meghan comes from a theatrical background too, so it’s been great for the three of them.”
Ms Minnelli has previously spoken about her relationship with late Princess Diana.
She said: “I was lucky enough to count Princess Di as a friend.”

The Princess of Wales and the American actress were photographed in 1991 sitting at the same table at the Langham Hotel in London.
In the picture, the Princess of Wales laughs while Ms Minnelli whispers something in her ear.
The year after, the couple were photographed together once again as they attended a tribute concert to Sammy Davis Jr at the Royal Albert Hall.
Meghan and Prince Harry relocated to Los Angeles in late March, a few days before they officially stepped down as senior royals.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have since remained in self-isolation with their son Archie Harrison.
Over the past three months, Meghan and Harry have remained in touch with their patronages and worked towards helping them adapt to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the death of George Floyd, however, the couple have shifted their focus from coronavirus to racial equality and have got in touch with local communities and association to find the best way to support them, according to an expert.
Royal commentator Katie Nicholl told ET online: "They've been very busy with the COVID efforts, particularly how it's impacting on their charities.
"And their focus is now, I'm told, shifting onto this movement -- Black Lives Matter is something that really resonates with both of them."
As they landed in California while the stay at home order was in place, it is unlikely the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have had the chance yet to reconnect with Meghan's old circle of friends.
Similarly, the couple couldn't immediately reunite with Meghan's mother Doria Ragland, despite now living in the same city.
According to Oprahmag.com, the Sussexes managed to celebrate Mother's Day together with Doria while also social-distancing.
And, according to The Sun's source, has now moved in with Meghan, Harry and Archie.
They said: "Doria has her own quarters and whilst a few of Harry’s chums have been ribbing him about living with his mother-in-law, he has a brilliant relationship with her."
