"Sending love to HRH and Mr. Mapelli Mozzi, and to all of you!"
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo's wedding was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The couple announced their engagement in late September 2019, after taking the decision to tie the knot during a romantic weekend on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
In February this year, the Palace announced Beatrice and Edoardo's wedding would have taken place on May 29 at the Chapel Royal.
The reception would have been hosted by the Queen and taken place in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.
Following the outbreak in the UK of COVID-19, the palace announced Beatrice and Edo had decided to cancel the reception, but never officially announced the postponement of their wedding.
But from late March, the couple would have been unable to carry on with the wedding anyway, as Prime Minister Boris Johnson issued a nationwide lockdown to quash the spread of the virus.
In accordance with the Government guidance, the Church of England put on hold any planned wedding ceremonies or christenings and closed churches to public worship.
Princess Beatrice hasn't opened up on her heartbreak over the delayed wedding.
In fact, the elder daughter of Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York seems to have put on a brave face as she appeared in a number of videos.
On Monday, the princess virtually joined judges and organisers of the Oscar's Book Prize, of which she is the royal patron, and read an extract from Tad by Benji Davies, to announce it won the prestigious award.
The 31-year-old princess is self-isolating with Edoardo at his mother's home in Chipping Norton, as revealed by Fergie earlier this month.
Speaking about being in lockdown far from his elder daughter, the Duchess of York told Darlton Harris' podcast, City Island Podcast: "It's sad for me that Beatrice, she was going to get married next week, but they postponed the wedding.
"Edo and Beatrice have been living with her future mother-in-law who is lovely. Great friend of mine.
"But I'm missing my other daughter but it's just like everybody else, we are just the same family as everybody else."
