Royal shock: Mancunian Meghan Markle stuns as lookalike eyes incredible new career
MEGHAN MARKLE has a lookalike, who she is every bit as glamorous and elegant as the original.

Sarah Mhlanga from Manchester has been posing as the Duchess of Sussex ever since 2017, when Harry and Meghan announced their engagement. At the time, it was pointed out to the mum of two that she bore a striking resemblance to Harry’s future wife. The 36-year-old took the plunge and decided to try and cash in on her similar looks to the Duchess.
She now reportedly earns up to £400 for a few hours work as Meghan’s doppelgänger in commercials and TV shows.
This is on top of what she earns in her job as an occupation director at a performing arts school.
Despite the extra income Ms Mhlanga cannot afford to buy the same designer clothes worn by Meghan.
She says that her tastes are “sophisticated and smart” like those of the Duchess.
But unlike Meghan she buys her outfits from the high street.
She said: “I couldn't afford to keep buying different outfits for £2,000 apiece.”
Ms Mhlanga and her mother were guests at the Windsor Castle wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, although they did not meet the happy royal couple.
She explained:”I didn't meet Meghan but at one point I was about a metre from her.”

Although she has been impersonating Meghan for almost two years, Ms Mhlanga still finds it strange when people ask for her autograph.
She recounts how one man and his two daughters posed for a photograph, before showing it to his wife.
She said: “His wife was convinced the photo was Meghan – so she framed it.”
A career as a royal lookalike can be a transformative experience for those lucky enough to possess looks similar to members of the Royal Family.

Heidi Agan went from waitressing to walking and talking like Kate Middleton full-time.
She said: “This job has let me travel the world and spend more time at home with my children.”
It is an increasingly lucrative business, with companies willing to pay big bucks for a fake royal.
Simon Watkinson, Prince William’s doppelgänger, makes anywhere from between £500 to £1,000 for corporate events and parties.
Patricia Ford has been playing Queen Elizabeth II for 11 years and commands a fee of roughly £600 for a three-hour event.
The royal lookalikes spend so much time working and travelling together, that they have started to become one big family themselves.
Ms Agan explains: “I have a whole other family.
“A faux husband, kids, sister, grandmother, in-laws.
“We are all really close friends. I travel more with my fake husband than my real one!”
