Royal baby: Harry 'certain' to be by Meghan's side for birth - who else has Meghan chosen?
MEGHAN MARKLE's royal baby is due to arrive any day now but who will be joining the Duchess of Sussex for the birth?
Meghan Markle and Harry to keep baby birth ‘private’ says Palace
Meghan, 37, is due to give birth to Baby Sussex, who will be seventh in line to the throne, imminently. The US-born former actress is expected to have Harry, 34, by her side for the tot's arrival. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said Harry was “certain” to be present.
The royal expert added: “You won’t find a more contemporary couple than Harry and Meghan.”
Harry’s older brother Prince William was with Kate for the births of their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, who lives in the US, has reportedly come over to the UK for the birth of her grandchild.
There will be plenty of space for her to stay at the couple's new Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage, which has had a multimillion pound renovation to transform it into the perfect family home for Meghan, Harry and their tot.
Meghan is said to have picked her own medical team over the Queen’s expert doctors.
Royal gynaecologists Alan Farthing and Guy Thorpe-Beeston attended the arrivals of the Cambridge children.
But they will not lead the birth of Baby Sussex as Meghan “doesn’t want the men in suits”.
The couple have not revealed arrangements for the arrival of their first child.
A statement released by the palace last month said: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby.
"Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private.
"The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family."
