Brexit would not send Britain to the back of the queue, says Donald Trump
WHITE House hopeful Donald Trump insisted Brexit would not put Britain at the back of the queue for a US trade deal.
White House hopeful Donald Trump said he would treat every country fairly
The Republican candidate said that a vote to leave the European Union would make no difference if he were elected US president.
Last month, President Barack Obama provoked a furious backlash after he said a post-Brexit Britain would be “at the back of the queue” when it came to a new economic agreement.
But New York billionaire Trump directly contradicted the warning.
Asked if the UK would be at the front of the queue for a trade deal under a Trump presidency, he replied: “I don’t want to say ‘front’ or anything else. I mean, I’m going to treat everybody fairly but it wouldn’t make any difference to me whether they were in the EU or not.

He said: “If I were from Britain I would probably, I would not want it, I would want to go back to the different system.”
