European elections 2019: What parties can you vote for in EU election? Who is standing?
THE European elections will take place next month and after the EU agreed to a Brexit delay until the end of October, preparations for the forthcoming elections have begun in the UK. What parties and candidates can you vote for in the European election?

Parties are steadily launching their EU election campaign with the full list of candidates expected to be announced on Thursday. The European Parliament elections are due to take place between May 23 to 26, with Britain voting on May 23. British voters were not expected to take part in this year’s election but with the newest Brexit extension until October 31, there is an increased likelihood the UK is still a member of the EU at the date of the election and will have to partake.
