Thrifty Kate Middleton returned to one of her most elegant looks today.

The 33-year-old recycled her bold fuchsia coat by British brand Mulberry to attend royal engagements in the capital, alongside her husband Prince William.

Kate previously wore the striking garment in December while attending events in New York.

The Duchess, who is passionate about flying the flag for UK clothing companies, looked sophisticated in the £1,500 outerwear from the brand's autumn/winter 2014 collection.

The Mulberry website states: "A double-breasted coat is a timeless winter style with a reassuringly classic silhouette.

"Updated in vibrant Cerise, this version has beautiful finishing details including elegant horn buttons and contrasting Midnight Blue lining."

The stunning coat was roomy enough to accommodate Kate's eight-month baby bump, and was no doubt tailored to fit perfectly.

Kate braved the March chill to go bare legged and finished the look with her favourite Mulberry clutch bag and her black 'power pumps' by Stuart Weizman.

Those hoping to get their hands on the cerise number will be disappointed to hear that it is no longer available.

It sold out the first time Kate was pictured in it.

Kate is set to give birth to her and Prince William's second child next month.

The pair welcomed a son, Prince George, in July 2013.
