TV and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon, 43, reveals her top style and beauty tips

Which beauty products do you swear by?

I’m a big fan of Kiehl’s Creme de Corps body moisturiser, which I apply with a few drops of Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil.

It makes me smell like I’ve visited a spa. Murad Firm and Tone Serum is great for stretch marks and before bed I’ll apply Murad Essential-C Moisture, which is supposed to increase your skin’s elasticity. I can vouch that it really does work.

What are your essential cosmetics?

I’m a beauty junkie – I’ll try anything and everything! My staples are Chantecaille Rose Petals Highlighter Powder, NARS Eyeliner, MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara, Bobbi Brown Concealer and anything by Laura Mercier.

I’d change my feet, which aren’t as pretty as they once were thanks to Strictly Come Dancing

Do you have any top beauty tips?

Use a body brush for a couple of minutes in the shower every morning. It kick starts your lymphatic system, improving circulation and reducing water retention.

How do you stay in shape?

On a good week, I’ll fit in three exercise classes – whether that’s yoga, Pilates or something cardio-based and I also have a personal trainer. If I’m busy, I’ll just go for a quick run or power walk home after my Capital Radio breakfast show, instead of getting a taxi.

Do you diet?

Not for weight-loss purposes, but I am lactose intolerant and I’ve also cut wheat and gluten from my diet. Most of the time, it’s easy to stick to but sometimes I’ll crave cheese, so I’ll have buffalo mozzarella.

I’m quite health conscious, though – I always make sure I have lots of vitamin C into my diet. I love grapefruit and it’s great for the skin.

If you could change one part of your body, what would it be?

Maybe I’d change my feet, which aren’t as pretty as they once were thanks to Strictly Come Dancing! But in general I try to be kind to myself. You’ve got to learn to love what you’ve got.

Would you ever consider plastic surgery in the future?

I’d like to think I wouldn’t go down that path and grow old gracefully, but I have low days when I feel like I need a complete overhaul.

What is your signature fragrance?

Rose Noir by Byredo from Liberty, London.

How do you like to pamper yourself?

Recently, I’ve been visiting Dr Michael Prager’s clinic, and I swear by the Red Carpet Facial. It involves lots of massage and peels, and you come out a bit red and sore, but the results are amazing and last for six weeks.

How would you describe your style?

It depends on my mood; I tend to dip in and out of different styles. One day I’m very girly and the next I’m in baggy boyfriend jeans and Converse.

Do you have a favourite shop or designer?

Isabel Marant, Frame Jeans, J Brand, YSL, and Balmain is my go-to designer for special occasion dresses. I wore a multicoloured Balmain dress to the BRIT Awards last month.

What is the most money you’ve ever spent on an item of clothing?

Around £2,000 on a designer handbag. I also spend more than I should on coats.

Who is your style icon?

Julianne Moore is my inspiration for red-carpet glamour. I also love Miranda Kerr and Cameron Diaz’s cool style.

Lisa Snowdon is working with sweet and juicy Florida grapefruit to help the UK stay healthy.
