She's set to give birth to her second child next month but that hasn't stopped Kate Middleton looking super stylish.

Rather than sitting at home with her feet up, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out to visit the 'Self: Image and Identity' exhibition at the Turner Contemporary art gallery in Margate.

Kate, whose passion for art is well documented, will see the last self-portrait by Sir Anthony Van Dyck.

The 33-year-old decided to recycle a previous fashion hit for today's royal engagement.

Kate stunned in a striking dalmatian print coat by British label Hobbs.

The form-fitting garment, which cut just above the knee, showcased the young royal's blossoming baby bump.

Kate is clearly a fan of the flattering tailored style as she previously wore the £169 coat while pregnant with Prince George in 2013.

As with many items that Prince William's wife is seen wearing, the outerwear was an instant hit and sold out in minutes.

Kate finished her elegant day time look with what appeared to be her favourite Mulberry clutch bag and black Jimmy Choo high heels.

The young royal also experimented with a new hairstyle.

Rather than wearing her glossy brunette locks in loose waves, Kate tied her hair into a slick ponytail.

As well as touring the gallery, Kate will speak with local school children about an art project they're working on and visit the Clore Learning Studio.

The Duchess studied art history at the University of St Andrews, where she met Prince William, and is a patron of The National Portrait Gallery in London.

She is also a royal patron of The Art Room which is an organisation that uses art therapy to help children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This is Kate's second public engagement of the week.

On Monday, she joined husband Prince William for the Commonwealth Day Observance at Westminster Abbey in a pretty pastel Alexander McQueen coat.

She will travel to Ealing Studios in London tomorrow to visit the set of Downton Abbey, meet the cast and watch a scene being filmed in the servants' quarters.
