Frilling! Fashion gala raises funds for charity
GLAMOROUS faces teamed fashion with fundraising at Pia Michi's star–studded gala dinner in London last night.
The occasion–wear label launched its annual collection of ready–to–wear and haute–couture gowns at the Millennium Mayfair hotel.
Guests included TV presenter Lizzie Cundy, actress Patsy Kensit, former Big Brother contestant Tricia Penrose, singer Michelle Heaton, model Caprice Bourret and Joy Desmond, wife of Daily Express owner Richard Desmond.
They were treated to entertainment from electric quartet String Fever and stunning X Factor star Jade Ellis.

There was also a raffle and silent auction of luxury brands, including the chance to win a dress worth £1,500.
The highlight of the evening for many was a glittering red carpet catwalk show, with every penny raised going to children's charity Barnardo's.
Tricia, who counts herself as an unofficial brand ambassador, said: "All of my Big Brother outfits came from Pia Michi. When you put on their dresses, you just feel fabulous."
The gala was held in association with Sparkling Jewellery and hair care and extension specialists Inanch of London.
