Marks and Spencer 'very flattering' midi dress is under £40 and hailed 'perfect'
The popular Printed V-Neck Midi Waisted Wrap Dress from Marks and Spencer has earned plenty of glowing reviews from fashion fans - and it's easy to see why
With spring underway, now is the time to start filling up your wardrobe with floaty dresses for the warmer months ahead. Marks and Spencer has made it easy for us to stay stylish when the temperatures rise with plenty of stunning new-in pieces - including this V-Neck Midi Waisted Wrap Dress, £39.50.
The high-street favourite has already been receiving praise for its breezy, stylish number, which comes in a regular fit. A tie closure at the waist creates a lovely silhouette, while short puffed sleeves add a bit of volume to the style. There's also a tiered frilled hem at the skirt for playful finishing touch.
Part of the M&S Collection range, the affordable dress comes in both navy and iris-blue, with sizes ranging from eight to 24. However, due to its popularity, some sizes have now sold out on Marks and Spencer's website. You can also find the dress in select stores.
It has garnered several rave reviews online from M&S shoppers raving about the quality, fit and low price, so we're predicting a sell-out.
One person gave the Printed V-Neck Midi Waisted Wrap Dress five stars, sharing: "I have bought the brighter blue colour which is lovely. The style is flattering and the length just right. Now all we need is better weather so I can wear it!"
A second gushed: "Absolutely fabulous, perfect in every Way, colour, fit, style and very flattering etc. My only wish is another choice of colour red would be perfect!"
While a third added: "Bought this dress for a wedding. Lovely colour and style. True to size and perfect fit. Very pleased with my purchase."
But some shoppers weren't impressed, as one said the dress "doesn't provide adequate coverage of plus size bust", while someone else found the material "creases a lot".
We've spotted heaps of similar styles at popular fashion retailer New Look. For example, the Yumi Bright Blue Frill Wrap Midi Dress has similar features to the Marks and Spencer offering, but costs slightly more at £40. There's also this gorgeous Gini London Blue Fleck-Print Wrap Dress for just £35.
Elsewhere, River Island is selling wrap dresses too, including this Black Spot Long Sleeve Midi Dress - which costs £53.
