Queen Maxima in pictures: Dutch royal spends day with Sophie, Countess of Wessex
QUEEN MAXIMA of the Netherlands and her husband King Willem-Alexander had breakfast with the Earl and Countess of Wessex this morning on day two of their UK state visit before embarking on a string of royal engagements.

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands looked pretty in pink today at Mansion House alongside Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
The Dutch Queen arrived in a vibrant cerise dress after wowing at Buckingham Palace last night.
The 47-year-old monarch wore a three-quarter length round neck pink dress with a black leaf design at the left shoulder and right hip.
She teamed the long sleeved outfit with a co-ordinating black hat and a pair of long drop earrings.
The King and Queen of the Netherlands joined Charles Bowman, Lord Mayor of the City of London, Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex and Sophie, Countess of Wessex this morning for the breakfast event.
The British royal wore a navy blue dress and matching suit jacket which featured embroidered selves and a panel on the skirt. She teamed it with a 1960s-style navy blue pillbox hat.
The Dutch royal couple are currently on a two-day state visit to the UK and attended a banquet in their honour last night.
The state dinner hosted by Queen Elizabeth II was attended by members of the Royal Family including Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, 36, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 71.
The stylish royal wore a strapless midnight blue ombre dress with a sheer cape that fell to the floor for the Buckingham Palace event.
She complimented her beautiful gown with an incredible tiara which featured an almost 40 carat pale blue diamond.
After breakfast, the royal foursome stepped on board HMS Belfast in London for an on-the-water capability demonstration between the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps and the Royal Marines.
And later, visited Prime Minister Theresa May at 10 Downing Street.
