Cleaning your sofa can be a difficult task, but one TikToker has a hack that will make it so much easier.

There’s plenty of tricks to cleaning your sofa, like to eliminate nasty odours.

Once your couch is spotless, you can also with a method that leaves them looking good as new.

TikTok user @anna_louisa_at_home shared a way of cleaning her sofa with a few kitchen items, including a pot lid. Her video has already received over 10,000 likes and 970,000 views.

She said to mix together one tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda, one tablespoon of dish soap and warm water to a bowl.

Take a pot life with a handle, and place it on a dish rag. Fold the corners of the dishrag up over the lid, and tie them together around the handle.

Dip the covered lid in the bowl of cleaning solution, and then scrub it in a straight line motion on the couch. Continue doing so until it’s spotless.

You may need to rinse, ring out and re-tie the cloth every couple of scrubs when the rag starts to look discoloured, she said.

She added once you take the dish rag off, you may see a ring of dirt that came off your couch.
