"I've tried soda crystals, Detol machine cleaner and hot wash - what do I do?
"I never had it on my old machine but have moved to a new area with a built in machine so could it be the water or because it's built in the cupboard?"

She explained using machine cleaning products had not helped with her problem.
However, a number of users recommended simply using a bicarbonate soda and a toothbrush.

"Try a mold and mildew spray and rub with a toothbrush," a third suggested.
Another homeowner agreed, adding: "I used bleach to remove mould and then did a vinegar and bicarbonate soda hot cycle."
After taking the advice, the Facebook user revealed she had started to notice results.
