Meghan Markle has been crowned the most newsworthy celebrity beauty icon, beating the Duchess of Cambridge by nearly 67 million articles. On average, 88,500,000 news articles are written about Meghan Markle every year, making her the most newsworthy celebrity. The study, conducted by beauty experts at RY, used Google Analytics news data to discover which celebrity beauty regimes had the most coverage.
The Duchess of Cambridge on the other hand only has 21,637,000 articles written about her every year, which is 66,863,000 less than the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan Markle even beat celebrities such as Kim Kardashian by over 10 million articles, proving the Duchess still remains newsworthy despite stepping down as a working royal.
The global sensation has 88.5 million articles written about her hair, make-up and skincare secrets every year.

With 88.5 million articles written about her hair, makeup and skincare, she outstrips all of the other newsworthy celebrities by over 17 million articles.
The fact her beauty regime has received almost 67 million more articles than fellow Duchess Kate Middleton shows she is certainly getting a lot of publicity, despite no longer being a working member of the Royal Family.
Meghan also took the eighth position for the most popular celebrity ‘skinfluencer’ with 15,440 annual searches to uncover the secrets behind her ultra-natural beauty look, barely-there skin make-up and iconic freckles.
Kate Middleton did not make this list, with the other celebrities including the likes of Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Kylie Jenner.
However, the Duchess of Cambridge remains highly popular in the UK as a working royal, listed as the third most popular Royal Family member in a recent YouGov poll.
Meghan on the other hand was number 13, with only Prince Harry and Prince Andrew behind her in the YouGov list.
This data from RY comes after it was revealed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are as unpopular as Prince Charles was after he admitted to having an affair during his marriage.
YouGov data shows the couple's popularity is plummeting in the wake of a high-profile fall-out with Prince William and the controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In November 2017, Harry's popularity approval rating was 81 percent.
But that began to drop in January 2020 around the time the two decided to step away from royal life.
By the time of the Oprah interview, it had massively dropped to just 31 percent in just over two years.
This is an even lower popularity rate than Harry's father Prince Charles in 1994.
In 1994, the Prince of Wales appeared on an ITV Documentary called ‘Charles: The Private Man, the Public Role’, where he was interview by Jonathan Dimbleby.
The nation was stunned when Charles openly admitted having an affair.
It led to Princess Diana's responding interview with Panorama the following year, where she famously said there were "three of us in this marriage".
In 1991 Charles was polling 82 percent but by 1996 this had fallen to 41 percent.
Meghan's own popularity peaked at 55 percent in October 2019 and is now at 32 percent.
