SUPERMARKETS have updated rules for those shopping in stores. This is what you must do in Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Marks & Spencer, Aldi and Sainsbury's.

During the coronavirus pandemic, there have been restrictions on couples and families shopping together. This is the latest update on the rules from Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer and Aldi.
As part of social distancing rules, many supermarkets have restricted how many customers can enter a store at one time.
Some retailers have asked customers to come alone and only have one person per trolley.
This means couples and families have been asked not to shop together unless it is absolutely necessary.
As restrictions start to ease, these are the latest rules in supermarkets.
Tesco
At the beginning of lockdown, Tesco said just one person per household should visit stores.
This rule has not been lifted which means customers should still shop alone if possible.
However, the supermarket does allow shoppers to bring children or a carer if they cannot come alone.
Asda
Asda has enforced similar rules encouraging just one adult per trolley.
It's website said: "To help maintain our social distancing measures, we are limiting the number of customers in our stores at any one time.
"If possible, we ask our customers to please stick to one adult per trolley."
Like at Tesco, there is flexibility for those who need to bring children or a carer.
Aldi
Those heading to the discount supermarket chain will follow slightly different rules.
While large groups shopping together is not encouraged, there are no actual rules in place to stop this.
An Aldi spokesperson said: "In order to help with social distancing, we are encouraging all customers to try and reduce the number of family members they bring with them into our stores.
"Of course, we ask that all store staff use their discretion with children and parents."
Marks & Spencer
There are no official rules for how many customers can enter an M&S Foodhall at one time.
However, social distancing measures are used in stores and keeping a distance is encouraged, meaning Britons should probably shop alone.
The website said: "To keep all our customers and colleagues well, our stores will have additional social distancing measures in place. Please be kind and give everyone space."
Sainsbury's
Sainsbury's shoppers are also encouraged to shop alone, with children allowed to join adults if necessary.
It's website reads: "This helps us keep people a safe distance apart and also helps to reduce queues to get into stores.
"Our store teams will be asking groups with more than one adult to choose one adult to shop and will ask other adults to wait. Children are welcome if they are not able to stay at home."
Morrisons
The supermarket giant has made a number of changes to help keep social distancing in stores.
While there are restrictions on how many customers can enter a store at one time, there are no official rules on families and couples.
However, one person per trolley is encouraged and a queuing system is used outside stores.
Supermarkets will regularly update shopping rules in line with government guidelines.
