Gardening fans love a mini greenhouse that’s perfect for growing plants if you have limited outdoor space. The Timber GoZone mini Greenhouse is said to be easy to build and a “small size for a small space”, with shoppers enjoying using it to grow herbs.

It’s built with a hinged lid and two doors to allow easy access, plus three shelves to store plenty of plants. Reviewers have been largely positive about the product that costs £52.50 from Dunelm - 30% off the usual retail price of £75.

Dunelm says the greenhouse is “ideal” and a “plant paradise” if you’re looking to germinate seeds, propagate plants, grow fruit or veg, or simply wish to extend your growing season.

One impressed reviewer said: “Bought this for my wife for her birthday, as she wanted to grow her own herbs. Delivered on time. Simple to put together and looks good on the patio. Only been set up a week or so, and seed trays are already showing seedlings coming through. Very neat and hoping for homegrown herbs, tomatoes and chillies very soon.”

Another said: “Good value wooden greenhouse, easy to build, only took 30 mins to build.”

A third added: “Easy to assemble. Nice small size for a small space. It’s not absolutely top-quality materials but it’s more than good enough for the price, and looks classy. The shelves can be removed easily if using it as a mini grow house for cucumbers which we are! Very happy with it.”

However, one reviewer added: “Lovely little greenhouse but I’m really not sure the wood will last a winter… but looks great just now and doing a great job already.” It’s worth noting that it does also require some flat-pack assembly, so basic DIY skills will be required.

Amazon also stocks a range of mini greenhouses, including the Unibos 4 Tier Mini Greenhouse, which is a budget-friendly £21.90. Alternatively, B&Q also has a selection to choose from.
