turns 63 today (May 6) but many people would think the actor was much younger.

The Ocean’s Eleven actor has twice been named the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ by People magazine and maintains an enviable physique.

Despite this, George has said that he and wife Amal aren’t good cooks and instead enjoy the food made by Viviana Frizzi, their personal Italian chef.

George once told People magazine that Frizzi “can make anything, including handmade gnocchi with pesto that would make you cry”.

Homemade pasta is a wholesome dish and the Italian diet is thought to be one of the world’s healthiest.

One of the world’s Blue Zones, regions where a high number of people live to 100, is even located in Italy.

People in Sardinia enjoy a long life, in part thought to be due to their healthy Mediterranean diet which is packed with fresh ingredients.

George said that he and Amal rarely eat out since they had their twins, instead preferring to eat Frizzi’s dishes at home.

He said: “Vivi cooks for us almost every night now because we have twins. Going out isn’t as easy or as interesting as it used to be.”

The actor added that most of the couple’s friends would rather eat their chef’s food than go out for a meal in Como.

Frizzi said that George’s favourite pizza, which the couple eat weekly, is margherita served with salad.

Although George’s diet is heavily influenced by Mediterranean dishes, the couple’s chef also makes a wide range of cuisines, including Lebanese and Japanese.

Frizzi said that the couple’s twins, Alexander and Ella, aren’t fussy eaters and enjoy many of her dishes.

George isn’t in a rush to improve his cooking skills and has previously said it would be like teaching “a whale to fly”.
