Ford scrappage scheme 2017 to extend into next year - Here’s how much you could save
FORD is set to extend its 2017 UK car scrappage scheme into 2018, offering drivers more opportunity to scrap their old more polluting vehicle for a low emissions equivalent.
Diesel drivers could be PAID to scrap their cars
Ford is extending its UK scrappage scheme into 2018 offering drivers more time to cash in on their old car.
The American car giant was amongst the majority of manufacturers including VW and BMW offering motorists money off a new low emissions cars.
Under the Ford scrappage scheme drivers can bag up to £2,000 off a new car in the company’s range costing between £12,000 and £20,000.
Applicable vehicles are any pre-Euro 5 cars and vans, of any manufacturer, registered before 31st December 2009.
So far the scheme has seen over 10,500 cars scrapped and swapped for more efficient vehicles.
Now, the scheme will be extended into Q1 in 2018 and the Ford Ranger has also been added.

The SMMT has revealed figures that total car sales in November were down 11.2 per cent to 163,541 units, compared with November 2016.
For the year, total car sales are down five per cent compared to this time in 2016.
