THE new chief executive of DIY giant Kingfisher, which owns B&Q, will present her strategy for the business with its full-year results tomorrow, days after fears emerged that its £202million acquisition of French chain Mr Bricolage has stopped.

Kingfisher, run by Veronique Laury, disclosed that it had been made aware of reservations over the agreement. It said it was still to receive clarification from those at Mr Bricolage about the deal.
Ms Laury, who took over from Sir Ian Cheshire in December, will present full-year, pre-tax profits that are expected to fall 8 per cent to £683million, due to declining sales in France.
