Vodafone's maternity perk bid
VODAFONE has launched a bid to keep women staff by becoming one of the first companies in the world to introduce a worldwide minimum level of maternity pay.
It will offer 16 weeks on full pay, plus full pay for a 30-hour week for the first six months after a return to work.

Research shows global businesses could save up to an estimated £12.5billion a year by not having to recruit and train new employees.
Chief executive Vittorio Colao said: "Too many talented women leave because they face a difficult choice between caring for a newborn baby and their careers.."
