In a San Francisco court filing Autonomy’s ex-chief financial officer Sushovan Hussain accused HP of seeking to “cover up its mismanagement of the Autonomy integration”.

HP paid £6billion for Autonomy in 2011 but a year later said it was worth £5billion less and alleged accounting irregularities.

In his court submission Hussain accused HP of concealing its bungling of the transaction by “turning accounting disputes into alleged fraud”.
