Vikings come to the rescue of Falklands

SUPPORTING a friendly Viking invasion of London put Falkland Islands Holdings on course for higher profits despite a lack of drilling for oil in the South Atlantic.

Its Momart art storage and logistics business installed the “Vikings: life and legend” exhibition at the British Museum, featuring a warship, swords, coins, jewellery and chess pieces.

This helped offset reduced profits from the Falklands, where activities span retailing, property, insurance, hotels, shipping and fishing. They should benefit from oil exploration in the South Atlantic next year.
