Fantastic Beasts 2 news: First sequel teaser revealed as JK Rowling shares cryptic post
FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM has just become the first ever Harry Potter film to bag an Oscar, and now JK Rowling has shared a first teaser on its sequel.
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them - Part 2 is out in 2018
It’s already been confirmed that the series will be made up of an enormous five films, and the second is currently being prepared ahead of filming later this year.
Rowling posted online that she was “Having a Beastly day…”, along with a tantalising photo of the front page of the script.
Barely anything can be made-out at all, apart from Rowling’s writing credit, and a confidentiality warning.
The front page also appears to be watermarked, and it seems as if some handwritten notes could be overleaf, although none of them can be made out.

Plot details on the next film are being kept under wraps
Little is known about the sequel, including what its official title will be: it’s not clear if it will be Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them: Part 2 or similar.
Johnny Depp is thought to have a starring role as Gellert Grindelwald, after having a cameo in the first film.
Filming is expected to start in August in the UK and in Paris, France, although any storyline details have been kept tightly under wraps.
At the Academy Awards on Sunday night, Colleen Atwood won Best Costume Design for her work on the first Fantastic Beasts.
