In brand new exclusive stills from upcoming film, Spooks: The Greater Good, Kit ends up in handcuffs as he takes on the role of former MI5 agent Will Holloway.

Looking rather concerned in the shot, it seems that all does not go to plan in the film - which follows the successful BBC television series, Spooks.

The storyline focuses on Will as he attempts to recapture terrorist Adam Qasim (played by Elyes Gabel) who has escaped from MI5 custody during a high profile handover.

Unfortunately, Head of Counter-terrorism, Harry Pearce (played by Peter Firth) is blamed, and after being forced to resign, he disappears one night off a bridge into the River Thames.

Will is then brought back from Moscow to to uncover the truth they had feared – Harry is still alive. He’s gone rogue, and needs Will’s help.

However, as Qasim plans a devastating attack on the heart of MI5 in London, Will must decide whether to turn Harry in - or risk everything by trusting the damaged, dangerous master spy who has already betrayed him once before.

Harry is one of the main characters in Spooks, and has been played by Peter since the TV show began back in 2002.

A second still from the upcoming movie shows another tense scene where Tuppence Middleton - who plays June - prepares to confront someone with her gun - possibly Qasim.
