Who you gonna call?

Channing Tatum apparently.

The ripped Hollywood hunk is expected to star in a new Ghostbusters movie, that will follow the all-female remake of the 80's classic.

Earlier this year the cast for the female version was confirmed, with Kristing Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones all set do donne the jumpsuit and proton pack.

Although the two movies are both projects of Sony Pictures and are intended to compliment eachother, we cant help but feel live there may be a certain amount of gender rivalry.

So Channning will have his work cut out for him when he takes on the girls.

The star will join forces with writer Ivan Reitman and actor Dan Ackroyd from the original series.

The star will have some back up though, in the form of writer Ivan Reitman and actor Dan Ackroyd from the original series.

Directing duo Anthony and Joe Russo, who brought us Captain America:Civil War, are currently tipped to be taking the helm on the project.

"We want to expand the Ghostbusters universe in ways that will include different films, TV showsm merchandise, all things that are part of modern filmed entertainment," Reitman told Deadline.

"This is a branded entertainment, a scary supernatural premise mixed with comedy.

"Paul Feig's film will be the first version of that, shooting in June to come out in July, 2016.

"The second film has a wonderful idea that builds on that.
