Stan Lee LAST cameo before death: WATCH him in Venom clip as Tom Hardy pays tribute
STAN LEE’s last cameo before he died was opposite Tom Hardy in Venom. But did he film anymore?
Stan Lee: Marvel creator's cameo in blockbuster 'Venom'
Yesterday the Marvel Comics legend sadly died at the age of 95-years-old.
Over the last few decades, Lee cameoed in most major blockbusters based on the characters he created.
And while Disney’s MCU movies are his most common ground, the last one he featured in before he died was Sony’s Venom.
Lee appeared with a dog right at the end of the film, just as Hardy’s Eddie Brock has finished talking to Michelle Williams’ Anne.
Walking down a San Franciscan street, Eddie comes across Lee pointing at him.
Lee says: “Hey, don’t give up on her. Either of you.”
Of course, the Marvel Comics creator was referring to both Eddie and Venom inside him.
Eddie replies with a smile: “We won’t.”
Confused, Venom is heard talking to Eddie: “Who was that guy?”
But upon seeing Lee’s dog Venom says: “Wait, this thing looks delicious.”
Yesterday Hardy paid tribute to Lee on Instagram with a picture of the two of them on the Venom set.
Hardy wrote: “With the greatest of respect.”
Lee’s fans will be pleased to know, however, that more Marvel cameos from the late star will be released posthumously.
Certainly, he will have shot one each for Captain Marvel and Avengers 4, seeing as those films have already wrapped.
However, it remains to be seen if he managed to film one for Spider-Man Far From Home too.
Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
