Zara and Co put in shade by Autumn
IT is a truth universally acknowledged that no bride wants to look less attractive than her bridesmaids: a feat admirably achieved by Peter Phillips’ new royal bride Autumn, whose choice of ill-fitting, dirty green, strapless dresses for her buxom attendants made even ravishing Zara Phillips look beefy.
“But the worst bit was the visible tan shoulder strapmarks sported by Zara and the other bridesmaids,” winces a sartorial adviser.
“Didn’t they realise that they would show with a strapless dress? Maybe some fake tan might have helped.”
Clever Autumn, meanwhile, sported a lace bolero to conceal any marks of her own.
